Winter light in Glen Lyon, Highland Scotland
This project is closer to home and my heart than any other. Glen Lyon in Highland Perthshire stretches for some 26 miles up into the open country that borders Rannoch Moor. I have lived here with my family for ten years now and feel privileged to have had such an endless source of endless fascination on my doorstep. I have focused on black and whites images of the Glen’s landscapes and people during the winter, when snow, ice and starlight plunges the world into a dreamscape of luminous introspection. I hope to publish a book of winter photos of Glen Lyon in 2012.
